Nottingham Hoods Secure Key Player for 2025/26

The Nottingham Hoods are thrilled to announce the re-signing of Elliot Bailey for the upcoming 2025/26 season. A cornerstone of the team’s success throughout the 2024/25 campaign, Bailey returns as both a high-impact player and a respected leader within the club’s culture.

On the court, Bailey consistently delivered standout performances, showcasing his versatility, composure under pressure, and relentless work ethic. Whether stepping up in crucial moments, anchoring the defence, or creating opportunities for his teammates, Elliot epitomized what it means to be a Hood. Off the court, his influence was just as significant—mentoring younger players, setting professional standards, and helping foster the strong team spirit that defined the season.

Hoods Forward Elliot Bailey commented “I’m excited to stay with the Hoods and continue with the progress made on and off the floor. I have enjoyed my time here in Nottingham and I want to be a part of the project here. I’m determined to bring success to the club and help put the Hoods amongst the top organisations in the country.”

Head Coach Vladan Dragosavac shared his thoughts:

“I’m incredibly excited to have Elliot back with the Nottingham Hoods for another season. He was a key figure on and off the court—someone who not only delivered when it mattered but also helped shape the performance environment we’re building. His commitment, leadership, and belief in our long-term vision make him the perfect fit for this programme.”

The 2024/25 season marked a turning point for the club—demonstrating its potential to compete at the highest level while continuing to invest in player development. Despite facing challenges, the team, staff, and supporters came together to lay a strong foundation for the future.

Russell Levenston, Managing Director of the Hoods, commented:

“We continue to build at the Hoods and believe we are one of the most ambitious and forward-thinking clubs in the country. Bailey’s return sends a clear message—Nottingham Hoods is the right place for players who want to compete, develop, and be part of something special.”
